You can have a professional business email address starting at just £0.80 per month with Zoho Mail including a generous 5Gb of mailbox space per user and unlike with Gmail you can send huge attachments of up to 250Mb!
Whilst our cPanel hosting packages come with unlimited email accounts and webmail (Please see note below!*), we strongly recommend separating your email from your web hosting for security and delivery reliability reasons. Remember that your email account also takes up a lot of hosting space when your email box grows!
Email solutions like Google Workplace (formerly G Suite) and Microsoft 365 (previously Office 365) are practical and reasonably priced choices. Also, you receive other services like online document and file storage, spreadsheets, docs, teamwork tools, etc. included in your plan.
We are happy to help you set up the required DNS records associated with any of the above professional services.
*You can easily set up any domain email hosting accounts yourself in the provided cPanel, or we can help you with this. However, we charge an additional fee for the setup of email accounts and any issues with email will also be billed at our hourly rate.

What is the difference between hosting and domain name registration?
Very good question! Think of your hosting package as the contents of your house (where all the files that make up your website are stored, secures and served from. These files range from images, html and css files up to the database where all your website user/product is stored) and the domain name as your house address. Simple 🙂

How reliable is your hosting service?
Every hosting service experiences downtime sooner or later, even those who promise 100% uptime. We'd rather call it 99.9% and be honest that at some point there might be very small windows of downtime due to server upgrades, etc.
If you opt for one of our WordPress website care plans, we get pinged as soon as your website goes down and jump in to fix the issue for you right away.

How many email accounts can I create with my hosting package?
Our cPanel plans come with unlimited email accounts. However, we strongly recommend setting up your professional email accounts outside of your hosting package for enhanced security and disk space usage reasons, as well as deliverability improvement. See above for more information.

Do you offer SSL certificates with your hosting packages?
Yes! We offer the free Let's Encrypt certificate, which is often more than enough. If you run an online shop, it might be prudent to purchase a premium certificate that offers domain control validation, strong 256-bit encryption and warranties. If you're a larger organisation you might want to show the green address in support browsers which comes with top end SSLs. Just get in touch to discuss options.

Can I get FTP access?
Yes, you can set this up in your cPanel or just ask us for help.

Which PHP versions do you support?
We support all PHP versions starting with 5.6. Stuck with an older website that needs to keep running on an older version of PHP for a while longer until you upgrade? No problem, we can host it for you.

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes! Just get in touch and we will take care of your plan upgrade or downgrade.

I just want to register one or more domain names, can you do that too?
Yes! Just get in touch and let us know which domain names you're after and we will register these for you in your name and address and take care of automatic annual renewal and invoice you for those.
