The Lynnfield is based in Kirkwall, Orkney and offers luxury accommodation and cuisine.
They wanted their new website to reflect their high standards and convey quality, luxury and top notch customer service. To achieve this we chose a colour palette with accompanying typography that exudes quality and conveys a feeling of a luxury experience upon booking a room or table in the restaurant.
Photography was provided by National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson who made available superb photos of Orkney, and local photographer Tracy Maree for the interior and exterior shots.
We designed the custom user interface in Figma and developed the bespoke theme for WordPress, integrated the Hop booking system, and take care of ongoing maintenance and updates for the client.

We were in desperate need to find someone to re-vamp and modernise our website and Johanna at Orcadia Design came highly recommended. After looking through her portfolio, it was decided that we would definitely go with Orcadia Design.
Throughout the year, we worked closely with Johanna and Tracey Maree Photography to get everything that was needed for our new website. Johanna sent us different layouts of the website and let us pick the one we preferred the most and tweak anything that was needed, making them very easy to work with.
We are very impressed with our new website now and if we ever need amendments, it’s always done within a day.
